Biography:

J. Huntington Wofford represents clients in all family law issues, including collaborative law, and an array of civil litigation matters. Mr. Wofford has extensive litigation experience, including numerous jury trials. He is certified as a family financial mediator, which requires extensive training and adherence to high standards. He has received a BV Martindale-Hubbell peer review rating.

He earned his B.A. in history / government in 1993 from Wofford College, graduating cum laude. He earned his J.D. in 1996 from Wake Forest University School of Law.

On numerous occasions, Mr. Wofford has taught continuing legal education courses of the North Carolina Bar Association, the Mecklenburg County Bar and the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys. He has also been employed as an ad junct law professor.

Mr. Wofford is admitted to practice in North Carolina state courts, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of North Carolina and the Fourth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals.

He is a member of the Mecklenburg County and North Carolina Bar Associations and the North Carolina State Bar. He is currently acting as Chair of the Mecklenburg County Family Law Section and has been a council member for the Litigation Section of the North Carolina Bar Association.
